This is another of Chiaro’s take-apart bolt puzzles. The object here is to remove the ring, which looks in this photo like a washer between two bolts. It actually has a flat on one side, making it look like a miniature class ring with no jewel.
This puzzle is not very difficult. My coworkers and wife were all able to solve it quickly. This is probably because it’s easy to do part of the secret move used to take it apart by accident.
